Learning Labs
Students of all ability levels are welcome to enroll in EFA funded services at Equestrian Zone to help meet their educational goals. Sessions will be tailored to achieve student-led learning goals in the least restrictive environment with equines as their assistants. We have witnessed miracles with the motion-based learning that occurs in a natural setting. Children achieve their goals without even realizing they are learning. Students maintain focus, enjoying their environment and making educational strides with their equine assistants.
While posture, gait and balance are all part of the holistic learning process, Equestrian Zone is a specialized center that provides much more than basic riding or basic horsemanship training. We have certified K-12 educators that work alongside a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor/Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning to meet your student's specific learning needs.
Please complete the registration form to begin the process of enrollment. An invoice will be created to conduct an hour long initial assessment ($75.00) where services will be discussed and strengths/needs will be assessed. Based on goodness of fit into the existing services at Equestrian Zone, an invoice for the agreed upon services will be generated and services rendered upon invoice payment. Seasonal session slots are limited. Adhering to the agreed upon services and attending sessions is required to ensure our resources are efficiently meeting the needs of our community. Please be mindful of this commitment prior to signing up for services.
Arena Fee: $75.00/hour (horse during session)
Professional Services: $75.00/hour (certified professional during session)
Learning Lab: $500 (4 hours/day, 4 consecutive days, small group, certified professionals and horses)
Adaptive/therapeutic riding occurs on a seasonal sessions basis. These are year-round sessions with pricing and duration varying based on the season. Total cost will be agreed upon during the initial assessment. Please email ezrussellville@gmail.com with additional questions.
